If you're concerned, annoyed or angered by the recent changes at Australia's multicultural public broadcasting service, SBS (especially the changes to the tv news, commercials interrupting programs, the risible excuse for a weekly movie review and so on) register your opposition by signing the petition.

(Regarding the loss of your book - don't you hate that! Sometimes you know who has it but so much time passes you feel bad for asking. You know what's worse? Sylvia Plath, like many lit lovers, used to dog-ear her books and write in the margins. One day she came in to her room at college to find her roommate writing in HER books, thinking it was okay! She had no idea why Sylvia went off her nut about it. Silly girl!)
