In Elwood

I've been staying in Elwood, just south of St Kilda which is on Hobson's Bay to the south of Melbourne city. It is a generally neat suburb of leafy streets, brick bungalow-style houses and, increasingly, blocks of modern apartments. Walking to Elwood Village shopping area I pass these little stencils and this entrance to a garage in Ormond Road. They're quite different from the tougher inner-city stencil style you encounter on the more unkempt northern side of town - kind of sweet really.

On poetry blogging

Anny Ballardini editor of the multilingual poetry site fiera lingue has compiled an interesting analysis of poetry blogging as part of her project at the University of New Orleans.
